Instructor : Tom Flores

Tom Flores started his escrima training in 1994 with Grandmaster Leo Giron’s original Bahala Na Club #1.

After sitting down and interviewing with Grandmaster Leo Giron, he was accepted as a student and began his training with the lead instructors such as Maestro Dexter Labonog, Guro June Gotico and Guro Glenn Abrescy. It was not long after his training began that Tom realized how much he loved the art of escrima and that it would become a lifelong commitment for him.

It was a great honor and privilege for Tom in 2006 to be a part of the startup team for the Stockton Bahala Na Multi-Style School, lead by Maestro Dexter Labonog and Guro June Gotico. He has a strong dedication to helping assure that the next generation has a chance to learn the true and pure Giron system as it was taught to him.

In October of 2008 Tom was certified as an instructor of the Original Giron Escrima system by Master Dexter Labonog, Master Mike Giron and Maestro June Gotico.
