The 2010 tournament schedule, seminars, workshops, as well as rules, regulations and what types of tounament fighting. The creation of the official logo/banner and website. There will be a "Saltikan" sparring seesion after the meeting conducted by GM Pallen. "Saltikan" armorless full-contact stickfighting with flexible rattan weopon.

The UFMAC will be holding a free "Saltikan" light flexible stick no body armor competition workshop in Stockton. We invite all FMA practitioners to the free event hosted by Bahala Na Multi-Style. Please bring headgear,gloves, elbow and knee pads. Gives you a chance to check out the ins and outs and rules of the new Filipino Stick Fighting division that will be debuting at the Golden State Stickfighting Championships April 9th thru 11th in Santa Clara, CA.

A fundraising event for UC Merced martial art traveling team. Instructors from Modesto to Fresno teach rotating groups of (8-10) students for approximately 15-20 minutes. Most students are generally from other martial arts disciplines. A positive event with potential networking benefits.

Golden Gate International Martiala Arts Champoinships will be hosting the Golden Gate Stickfighting Championships on Saturday, April 10th in the Santa Clara Regency.
This is a great opportunity for all stickfighters to test their skills in a safe and competitive enviroment. We will have padded point stickfighting, live stickfighting, carenza and a new "Saltikan" division which is no armor stickfighting!

3rd Annual war games in Wilton, CA.
Wargames consist of military "Bolo Regimant" training used during World War 2 by the 1st and 2nd Filipino Infantry Regiments, envoiromental training from Leo Giron's Ebb & Tide
Bolo concepts and training, patrolling, ambush, military tactics, envoirmental training, actual full contact drills and fighting in different terrain, ie: bamboo forest, along the riverbanks, hillsides, bridges open terrain and river crossings.
Required Equipment: Full contact stickfighting gear, sticks, your favorite bolo to use for warmups!
$20 dollar admission for training and BBQ worth the price of admission!
(we cook our own lechon) that morning, please bring a potlock side dish.

5 day Muay Thai Camp. Tues thru Friday 6pm-8pm,learn authentic Muay Thai kicking, punching, elbows and knees. Sat 10am-2pm Muay Thai sparring.
Instructors Doc and Zina Docto are not only instructors who teach Muay Thai, they live, train and fight in Thailand. Come spend 5 days of training in authentic Muay Thai in our own back yard. You will learn great self defense techniques and conditioning drills in a safe, fun and exciting energized atmosphere.
Looks like a great event for all us guys that need to sharpen our empty hands skills!
