Serrada, Largo Mano and Decuerdas Systems
SLD (Serrada, Largamano, Decuerdas) the next generation of Filipino Martial Arts concepts founded by Maestro Dentoy Revillar. Maestro Revillar is one of the earliest senior students of Grandmaster Angel Cabales of the Serrada system, Grandmaster Leo Giron of the Largamano system and Grandmaster Gilbert Tenio of the Decuerdas system. His instructors were the first to open doors to the public in the United States . Maestro Revillar is highly respected by many Filipino martial art practitioners and is a pillar of strength in the Escrima community in Stockton, CA. Videos: Maestro Revillar exclusively trained a select number of individuals through the 80’s and 90’s to continue his conceptual philosophy of the systems he was blessed to learn in a single lifetime. Today the SLD system is taught as an advance curriculum in the Bahala Na Multi-Style system. The core focus involves Espada Y Daga (Sword and Dagger) utilizing a Serrada based concept with a Decadena (Linking Chain) overlay.
